Greece 5th most popular destination in 2011 for Europeans planning to travel abroad, says EU survey
Greece is the 5th most popular destination for EU citizens planning to spend their holidays in a foreign country in 2011, says EU's Eurobarometer survey.
Measuring the attitudes of EU citizens towards tourism, the survey examined travel trends in 2010. Then it looked at where and how we plan to travel in 2011. The environment, cultural heritage, entertainment, gastronomy, art, festivals and other events are among the most important factors we consider in our choices.
Greece ranked #5 most popular destination for Europeans planning to travel to non-domestic destinations in 2011.
